Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – [31 July 2024] – The Enterprise Big Data Framework Alliance (EBDFA) proudly awarded the Big Data Project of The Year to Petronas Digital Sdn Bhd’s Exploration Tribe yesterday, recognizing their groundbreaking project, “Exploration & Development Intuitive Search (EDIS).” This innovative AI-driven solution has revolutionized data retrieval processes for geoscientists, marking a significant advancement in the field.
The Big Data Project of the Year Award, an annual competition held as part of the Big Data Days virtual conference in May, received 62 entries this year. The award presentation ceremony was graced by esteemed guests including Muthukumar Sockalingam, Senior Manager (Exploration Tribe); Marzuki Kamaruzaman, General Manager (Enterprise Architecture); and Faizal Zainol Alam, General Manager of Product Delivery-Upstream at Petronas Digital Sdn Bhd.
