The Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) Spring 2025 is a much-awaited eSports competition with 23 teams competing in a squad-based, third-person perspective (TPP) mode. Organized by Tencent Games and Hero Esports, the competition will be held in China and will be played with the Game for Peace edition of the game. The official device of the competition is the OnePlus Ace 3. The competition will start from February 20, 2025, and will continue up to May 2025.
The event will be organized into various stages, starting with the Pre-Season from February 20 to February 23, 2025. The Breakout stage during the first two days will consist of 13 teams that finished between 8th and 20th in PEL 2024, along with three temporary seat teams. The top nine teams from here will make it to the Pre-Season Finals, and the remaining seven will go on to Week 1 Breakout. During the Pre-Season Finals, the top seven sides from PEL 2024 will battle with the nine from Breakout. The seven highest teams in this round will move to the Week 1 Finals, and the lowest nine will move on to the Week 1 Breakout.
After the Pre-Season the Regular Season will be from February 27 to April 27, 2025. Each week will start with a Breakout stage in which the last 7 teams for the Breakout of the past week and last 9 for the Weekly Finals will compete. The first nine teams will make it to the next Weekly Finals, and the last seven teams will go to the stage of the next week’s Breakout. The Weekly Finals, held from Day 2 to Day 4, will feature the top seven teams from the previous Weekly Finals and the top nine from Breakout. The top seven teams will secure their place in the next Weekly Finals, while the bottom nine will move to the following Breakout stage. Points earned in the Weekly Finals will be carried over into the total Regular Season standings. The best performing seven teams and the worst performing teams at the conclusion of the Regular Season will go to the Finals and Playoffs, respectively.
The Playoffs will be held from May 1 to May 4, 2025, and will have 16 teams from the Regular Season. The top nine teams from the stage will go to the Finals, and the bottom seven will be eliminated. The Finals in May 2025 will include the seven teams from the Regular Season and the nine teams from the Playoffs. The last phase will last three match-days to decide PEL Spring 2025’s champion.
