Forza Horizon 5 is set to make its PlayStation 5 debut on April 29 with pre-orders now live on the PlayStation Store. Players can choose from the Standard and Deluxe Editions, or go for the Premium Edition, which launches into early access on April 25, the same day Horizon Realms arrives.
Horizon Realms is bringing Forza Horizon 5’s past to life. This brand-new feature lets players revisit 12 Evolving World locations, including 11 fan-favorite limited-time spots and the all-new Stadium Track. In addition to the returning locations, Forza Horizon 5 is debuting the all-new Stadium Track. Plus, the Horizon Stadium Circuit is making its way into the game as a permanent race route.
Players can also earn exclusive Horizon Realms accolades to unlock four brand-new reward cars, which include the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto, 2023 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430 and 2022 Hennessey Mammoth 6×6.

Horizon Realms is adding a new Accolade Tab with over 60 accolades to unlock, including new challenges and some returning ones from past Evolving World events. Each location in Horizon Realms comes with five new accolades, plus there’s one for the Horizon Stadium Circuit under the Road Racing tab.
Horizon Realms offers two ways to play:
-
Skill Mode lets you rack up Skill Score in each Realm and climb the leaderboards—both for individual locations and an overall tally. Hit high scores to unlock exclusive player Badges.
-
Free Mode is all about exploring and having fun. Cruise solo or with friends in a Convoy, revisit favorite Realms, unlock accolades for #Forzathon Points and collect Badges from past updates.
As mentioned earlier, PlayStation 5 players have three editions to choose from, here’s what each one includes. No matter which edition you pick, you’ll get the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE, 5,000 #Forzathon Points for cars and cosmetics and 5 Backstage Passes to unlock rare cars in the Backstage Shop.

Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 offers two rendering modes: Performance (60 FPS) and Quality (30 FPS). On PS5 Pro, Performance mode gets a visual upgrade, while Quality mode adds ray-traced car reflections in Races and Free Roam.
