VALORANT’s latest Duelist, Waylay, made her way into the game on March 5, 2025. Known for her speed, she dashes across the maps without leaving a trace behind and is tough to spot in the game. What are the best maps for Waylay?
Mastering Agent 28 revolves around understanding the places where she would thrive. This means you need to understand everything about the Waylay’s abilities. So, maps with places to hide and places where she can take close fights would be the best for her. We have created a list of maps that would be the best for her:
Icebox
The first map that would be the best for using Waylay is Icebox. This map has made it back into the map rotation in Season 2025 Act 2 and is one of the best fits for Waylay because of the narrow lanes along Sites A and B. She will be able to move very fast across these passages and will be able to evade the opponent’s attacks.
And with the help of Stature Ability, she will be able to catch hold of the opponent’s in the choke hold areas of the map.
Pearl
Pearl’s design composition is such that it makes the perfect one for Waylay. The map has multiple angles across different Sites, and because of this, she can take down enemies or escape from their attack. However, the sightlines of the maps are tough to gauge for Duelists, but her speed and double dash more than make up for it.
Ascent
The next map that will be her strong suit is another returnee, Ascent. Because of her Refract ability, she can take a fight quickly and then make her way back to safety. Her other abilities also help her capitalize on the multiple entry points in the game.
