A bevy of familiar faces with head to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as Season One DLC.
Revealed at The EVO Awards on Saturday, Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun-Li, Fatal Fury’s Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi, and Art of Fighting’s Mr. Big will be part of the DLC pack. Each character will be released over the next year. An estimated release window for each character can be seen below.
The lineup for the forthcoming Open Beta has also been unveiled. Players will be able to use Kain R. Heinlein, Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Hotaru Futaba, B. Jenet, Mai Shiranui, Preecha, and Vox Reaper in ranked, casual, and practice. The open beta will run from February 20 through February 24. A description of the open beta reads:
From February 20, 2025 (12 AM PST) through February 24, 2025 (11:59 PM PST), PC and console players can choose from eight total characters and throw down with friends in three online modes: Ranked Match, Casual Match, or Room Match. Those eager to hone their skills and learn dynamic combo routes can practice in the offline Training mode.
FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves introduces a stunning, comic-inspired art style that’s a visual treat for series fans, combined with fights fueled by the cutting-edge REV System to deliver dynamic matches. The open beta offers the public their first opportunity to experience the modernized action of City of the Wolves at home, featuring two distinct control schemes tailored to engage both newcomers and seasoned pros.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is slated for an April 24 release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). Pre-orders for the game can be found here. Pre-ordering the special edition of the game will include all characters in the Season One DLC, a Terry Bogard DLC costume, and three days of early access. As of this writing, the only way to obtain Season One DLC is through the special edition.
