Marvelous USA launched Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion last month across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. This dark sci-fi action sequel expands the Daemon X Machina universe with open-world exploration, customisable Arsenal mechs, and three-player online co-op featuring cross-play support across all platforms.

Arsenal Customisation and Combat
Players pilot fully customisable Arsenal suits, now reimagined as nimble armour rather than bulky mechs. Each Arsenal can be modified in both design and loadout through crafted or salvaged elements, allowing tailored approaches matching individual playstyles.
High-speed combat combines land and aerial movement across deadly open-world environments. Players collect weapons and equipment from defeated foes to upgrade skills and expand battlefield options, creating progression loops that reward aggressive exploration and combat engagement.

Sovereign Axiom Special Facilities
Scattered dungeons called “Sovereign Axiom Special Facilities” offer high-risk, high-reward challenges for rare items and materials. Different rarity key cards raise stakes whilst increasing potential rewards, with online trading functionality allowing friends to exchange cards for collaborative dungeon access.
These challenging facilities accommodate both solo play and cooperative attempts, providing endgame content beyond the main narrative campaign.

Post-Launch Content Roadmap
The first free update arrived 2nd October, adding “Battle Grausam RT: Ω” rematch mission to the base’s Rematch Simulator. Completing this grants new development equipment, with additional free cosmetic items planned for coming months.
Digital Deluxe and Super Digital Deluxe editions include various expansion content releasing after launch, though specific details await future announcements.

Edition Variety and Pricing
Standard Edition costs $69.99, Digital Deluxe Edition $89.99 includes cosmetic DLC and expansion content, whilst Super Digital Deluxe Edition $99.99 adds digital art book and soundtrack. Physical Limited Edition at $99.99 contains 15-track CD soundtrack, art book, acrylic stand, three flight tags, and three patches in custom box.
Launch DLC includes free hairstyles and emotes alongside paid equipment sets ranging from $3.99 to $5.99.

Creative Pedigree
Created and produced by Kenichiro Tsukuda with mechanical designs from Shoji Kawamori, Titanic Scion takes the franchise in a dramatic new direction. The Reclaimers’ fight against the Axiom forms the narrative backbone for humanity’s liberation battle.
Demo progress carries over to the full version on the same platform, allowing players to continue adventures seamlessly after purchase.

Accessibility and Scope
The gameplay is designed for newcomer accessibility whilst providing expanded scope satisfying returning fans. Cooperative and asynchronous multiplayer ensures players never fight alone, with online teamwork available for epic story battles.
Exploration spans alien planets with mechanical and organic enemies across plains, swamps, mountains, and diverse biomes traversable on foot, by flight, or horseback.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion targets mech action enthusiasts seeking customisable combat with cooperative multiplayer options.
