Fisch Mutation Guide
Usually, you wouldn’t want to find anything other than a pristine fish without flaws. However, Fisch praises defects, making Mutant Fish rarer, more sought-after and expensive! Each time you cast your line, there’s a slim chance you’ll hook a Mutated Fish.
What Are Mutations?
Mutations take multiple forms and increase the value of a Fish in unique ways. Typically when you catch a Mutant Fish, a small message will show up in the chatroom, and the Fish will have a different name in your inventory.
Outside of physical items, the only way to increase your odds of catching a Mutant is during the ‘Mutation Surge Event’. During this, all Mutant types have an increased spawn rate by 15%!
Low-Value Mutations
- Unsellable
- Code exclusive fish. No additional value.
- Big
- Fish are slightly larger than average and increase in value by x1.
- Translucent
- Fish appear transparent and increase in value by x1.3
- Darkened
- Fish appear black and their value increases by x1.3.
- Frozen
- Fish appear encased within an ice cube and their value increases by x1.3.
- Albino
- Fish appear white and their value increases by x1.15.
- Negative
- Fish have a reversed colour pallet to their natural and their value increases by x1.15.
- Silver
- Fish have a shimmery silver appearance and their value increases by x1.6.
- Electric
- Fish appear to be sparking and increase in value by x1.6.
- Glossy
- Fish appear more sheen and the value increases by x1.6.
- Mosaic
- Fish have a glass-like appearance in pastel multicolours. Value increases by 1.5x.
- Hexed
- Fish turn red and emit a faint aura. Their value increases by x1.5.
- Amber
- Fish become encased in Amber. Value increases by x0.5.
- Crystalized
- Only obtainable with the Crystal Rod. Value increases by x1.75.
- Scorched
- Fish appear on fire. Value increases by x1.3.
- Giant
- Fish are massive. Value increases by x2.
- Sparkling
- Fish appear luminous and glow! Their value increases by x1.85.
- Chances increase during the Night of the Luminous Event.
- Shiny
- Fish take on a new colour variant and increase in value by x1.85.
- Chances increase during the Shiny Surge Event.
- Midas
- Fish appear golden and increase in value by x2.
- Celestial
- 100% obtainment chance during the Celestial Bonus lasting 5 minutes. Fish value increases by x2.
- Purified
- Fish return to normal after visiting the Chisler at Ancient Isles. Value increases by x2.
- Nuclear
- Fish appear bright green and toxic. Their value increases by x2.
- Charred
- Obtainable with the Zeus Rod. 0.5x value.
- Aurous
- Auric Rod mutation. Value increases by x2.
Mid-Value Mutations
- Atlantean
- Fish turns teal and sparkly. Their value increases by x3.
- Aurelian
- Auric Rod mutation. Value increases by x3.
- Anomalous
- Fish emit red glitch particles and their value increases by 2.5x.
- Electric Shock
- Obtainable with the Zeus Rod. 3.5x value.
- Abyssal
- Fish appear neon blue with particle effects. Value increases by x3.5.
- Revitalised
- Obtained by bringing Amber mutated fish to Chiseler at Ancient Isles. Value increases by x3.5.
- Blighted
- Obtainable during a Blizzard event at Northern Expedition. Value increases by x3.
- Sleet
- Obtainable during an Avalance event at Northern Expedition. Value increases by x2.5.
- Fossilised
- Fish appear neon purple and emit particles. Value increases by x2.5.
- Solarblazed
- Obtainable during an Eclipse event. Fish sells for x2.5 more.
- Lunar
- Fish become yellow and purple. Value increases by x2.5.
High-Value Mutations
- Mythical
- Fish become rainbow and sell for x4.5 more. Encounter chance increases with the Mythical Rod.
- Aurora
- Fish have a neon-like glow, not too dissimilar from the Mythic Mutation however they appear more pastel. Value increases by x6.5.
- Wrath
- Only obtainable in the Poseidon Tide Pool with a Poseidon Wrath Totem active. Increases selling value by x6.5.
- Aureolin
- Auric Rod mutation. Value increases by x5.
- Aurulent
- Auric Rod mutation. Value increases by x5.
- Aureate
- Auric Rod mutation. Value increases by x4.
- Sunken
- Fish take on a similar appearance to the Sunken Rod cosmetical effect. Their value increases by x8.25.
- Heavenly
- Obtainable with the Heavens Rod. Value increases by x5.
- Greedy
- Fish appear dark gold with rays spewing from their body. Value increases by x4.
- Seasonal
- Fish have a chance to take on different appearances and values during each season only with the Seasonal Rod.
- Tentacle Surge
- No visible difference, however, fish value increases by a massive x10!
- Prismize
- No visible difference. Fish become 8x more valuable.
- Ashen Fortune
- Fish appear lava-like and their value increases by x5.
Event Mutations
- Ghastly (Fischfright Event Mutant)
- Fish appear transparent and green, similar to Davy Jones from Spongebob. Value increases by x2.
- Sinister (Fischfright Event Mutant)
- Fish appear black with a black particle effect emitting from their body. Value increases by x1.9.
- Doomsday (Ashfall Event)
- Fish appear bright orange and their value increases by x4.
- Minty (Fischmas))
- Fish appear mint green and their value increases by x2.2.
- Festive (Fischmas)
- Fish resemble candy canes and their value increases by x1.4.
- Jolly (Fischmas)
- Fisch become neon red and green and their value increases by x1.2.

- Noir – +10% Darkened or Albino chance
