Metizport and Fluxo are the first casualties of BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, as they finished Stage 1 with a 0-3 record on June 4.
The Swedish and Brazilian squads struggled against all three opponents they faced on Days 1 and 2 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major and deservedly exited the $1.25 million CS2 tournament. Even though more fans picked Chinggis Warriors or Lynn Vision as their 0-3 picks in the Pick’Em Challenge, it was actually Metizport and Fluxo who lost all matches in Stage 1.

The level of play displayed by Metizport and Fluxo makes a good argument against the new 32-team format of CS2 Majors, despite this being financially healthy for the CS2 ecosystem.
Both teams had completely uninspiring performances and never convinced anyone that they’d progress to Stage 2, or at least make things competitive in Stage 1.
While many expected this from Fluxo—a team full of rookies aside Andrei “arT” Piovezan and Romeu “zevy” Rocco — Metizport truly shocked some CS2 fans with their poor performance. Wildcard crushed them 13-1, TYLOO dominated them 13-4, and Imperial swept them on Day 2 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
As for Fluxo, their raw firepower at least made them look competitive against FlyQuest (13-7) and Complexity (13-9), but they simply shut off on Day 2 after losing Mirage to Chenggis Warriors. Their mental and lack of communication allowed the Mongolian team to steamroll them on Nuke (13-2), and advance to Day 3. It was a match that Fluxo should have won, however, everyone at home noticed the players were visibly tilted on Nuke.
BLAST.tv Austin Major Day 3: Stage 1 Round 4 matchups
There are only advancement and elimination matches left, which are all best-of-three series in contrast to the first matches of Stage 1.
And now, Stage 1 proceeds with just 12 teams as Fluxo and Metizport were eliminated, and HEROIC and B8 advanced to the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 2. This means that all matches from now on will have direct consequences.
