Team Falcons rebuilt their roster in January 2025 with the hopes of reaching new heights. Since forming, the roster continued to struggle against Tier 1 CS2 teams although they managed to finish 2nd at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025.

At this particular tournament, the Falcons impressed with a clutch victory over The MongolZ to stay alive. However, against FaZe, the CS2 odds are stacked against them considering a 4-1 head-to-head record in favour of FaZe.

Speaking of FaZe, this team continues to have sparks of potential plagued by inconsistencies. At this particular tournament, FaZe squeezed into the Playoffs with a 3-2 record. Facing off against the flawless 3DMAX, FaZe Clan made quick work of them in a 2-0 fashion.

From the remaining teams, FaZe is looking like one of the favourites considering their experienced roster and performance so far at this tournament. However, their main competitor, G2 Esports, won’t simply hand over the silverware.

G2 Esports vs Complexity – Running it Back

Regardless of the outcome, this will be Complexity’s most impressive placement in a while. Winning two North American Qualifiers for YaLLa Compass and PGL Bucharest respectively, they have been on a positive trajectory since the double roster change in January.

Moreover, at PGL Bucharest so far, Complexity has impressed with wins over Falcons, FURIA and FaZe. Their only loss came to G2 Esports, which involved a tight 16-10 overtime game. So although the esports odds heavily favour G2 Esports, Complexity has every chance of making this an interesting game against one of the best CS2 teams.

Speaking of G2 Esports, they’ve by far and away been the most impressive side at PGL Bucharest so far. On the back of 5-8th finishes at Tier 1, G2 Esports were always favoured at this tournament. Of note, they are the only flawless team still standing. However, they’ll need to keep their guard up against Complexity.

Should they find themselves in the final, G2 Esports is likely favoured against Falcons or FaZe Clan.
