This is the Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro Series, one of the upcoming esports tournaments by ESL. This will be an offline event in Johor, Malaysia at Persada Johor International Convention Centre. From February 10 to February 16, 2025, 12 teams will compete for a total prize of USD 150,000.
The format will be as follows; group stages will be from February 10 to February 12. There will be 2 groups in the group stages with 6 teams each, all 12 teams will participate. It’s a round robin tournament; each match in the group stages will be best of 3. The top 3 teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
Playoffs will be from February 14 to February 16, with a mix of formats. Most matches in the playoffs will be best of 3, but for the upper and lower finals it’s best of 5. The grand finals will be best of 7 for the champion.
The total prize pool of $150,000 USD will be presented to the teams depending on their final positions. A total of $65,000 goes to the first-positioned team. The second position is worth $32,000 to the corresponding team. The third and fourth-placed teams will receive $17,000 and $10,000, respectively. The fifth and sixth teams will receive an equal amount of $5,500. The seventh and eighth teams will receive $3,700 each, while the ninth and tenth teams will receive $2,000. The last two teams, the eleventh and twelfth teams, will earn $1,800 each.
Snapdragon Pro Series is the main regional league for Southeast Asia, a platform for teams to showcase their skills. With a well-organized format and big prize pool, the tournament will be exciting and intense. Fans around the world will be watching to see who will be the champion of this event.
