The road to IESF’s World Esports Championships – WEC25 – has been long and arduous!
And that is just how it should be – to play at the highest levels should not be easy, it should require the very best dedication, training, discipline and team work.
And so it is with Mind Sports South Africa’s Protea Esports Team for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang title…
The South African Protea Team for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Esports title has not only beaten five African teams in test matches in preparation prior to IESF’s African Regional Championships – AEC25, but beat them all well in that the Proteas did not concede a single game in any of the matches.
The countries played were::
- Botswana
- Congo
- Gabon
- Mauritius
- Zambia
During IESF’s African Regional Championships – AEC25 – the Proteas faced off against Namibia, Congo, and Madagascar. Madagascar was the winner of Group B, and even though the team from Madagascar played a strong early game in each of the three games that they played against South Africa, the team from Madagascar wilted in the middle game to concede the end game with almost no fight at all.
Thus on 23 July 2025, the
South African Protea Team for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Esports title demolished Madagascar and maintained their impressive record of not conceding a single game in 2025.
Even though
