We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (October 27 through November 2).
Wednesday, October 29
The Nepo Baby Talent Show @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

At the Nepo Baby Talent Show, a slew of nepo babies will show if they’re just as talented as their parents. Wednesday’s show will feature guest judge Daniel Hastey (Jessica Chastain’s brother). Jonathan Braylock, Alan Starzinski, Lauren Scharf, and Valerie Tosi will be the talent for the evening.
Sophia Dashing @ Micky’s WeHo (8857 Santa Monica Blvd.)
Doors: 9 p.m. (tickets)
Rising pop singer Sophia Dashing will perform at Micky’s WeHo as part of Stefano’s Scary Bday Party, which will also feature DJ sets from Nathan and Euro Steve. The singer will perform at 12:30 a.m. Dashing will deliver a new single titled “Sinner” on Wednesday; pre-saves for the song can be made here.
Thursday October 30
F**k This Month @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Improv group F**k This Month will end October by delivering improv performances based on the audience’s horrible month. The cast for this show features Vic Michaelis, Angela Giarratana, Demi Adejuyigbe, Paul Robalino, Eli Gonzalez, Lauren Knutti, and Jeff Whitaker. The lineup is subject to change. Donzii, Dildox @ Gold-Diggers (5632 Santa Monica Blvd.)
Doors: 7 p.m. (tickets) 21+
Damaged Disco will throw a Halloween party at Gold-Diggers featuring musical performances from Donzii, Dildox, and Blood Handsome. DJ Unholy (Danse-X, Nag Nag Nag) will be the guest DJ for the event alongside DJs Ryan O and Wes J.

Saturday, November 1
Wildly Appropriate: An All-Ages Improv Show @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

If you’re looking for a more family-friendly improv show, UCB Theatre is the place to be for Wildly Appropriate: An All-Ages Improv Show. Co-hosted by seven-year-old Mae Tarica Fernie as well as Deborah Tarica and Alex Fernie, the show will allow kids from the audience to hop onto the stage to do improv. Oscar Núñez, Angela Giarratana, Sarah Claspell, and Ryan Rosenberg will be the special guests for the show. The lineup is subject to change.
Sunday, November 2
Work, B**ch @ The Broadwater Second Stage (6320 Santa Monica Blvd.)

Work, B**tch brings three improv teams together to act out job experiences from host Elissa Luma’s past in front of a live audience. For Sunday’s show, The Understudies, Nepo Mommy, and Cutie Deluxe will be the improv teams.
That Astrology Comedy Show @ Tao Comedy Studio (West 2nd St.)

Hosted by Alex Cave, That Astrology Comedy Show is bringing a slew of Leo comedians for its monthly show at Tao Comedy Studio. Sunday’s lineup features Lisa Wallen, Shaunah Monet, Ben Hermann, Max Lehman, Paula Jane Newman, and Gwen Eric Moore. A tarot card reading by Akanksha Aurora will follow after the comedy portion.
