Valorant coach Juv3nile has been banned from competitive play for a year after droves of women stepped forward and revealed their DMs with him.
36 year-old Preston ‘Juv3nile’ Dornon has been working as a Valorant coach for years, with his most recent achievement being that he worked with Leviatán during their VCT 2024 run that saw them almost make it to the Valorant Champions 2024 final.
However, hot off of this achievement, Juv3nile has been barred from being a part of any Riot-sanctioned competition and is no longer coaching for Global Esports effective immediately.
After several of the women he spoke to put him on blast publicly, Riot investigated the matter and determined that he violated their code of conduct by sending dozens of unwanted advances to women, most of which were in their late teens or early 20s.
Juv3nile suspended from Valorant competitive over DMs
The allegations against Juv3nile began with allegations against another coach, Fantomas, DMing women from a smaller region league. The tournaments he participates in haven’t investigated the matter further, but this conversation prompted women to step forward who had been contacted by the now-former Global Esports coach.
In response to this tweet, several women claimed they had received the very same copy and pasted DM from him. Juv3nile had a few cold open messages that he’d default to, though he’d also use DMs to directly reply to a tweet and start a conversation that way.
“i gotchu, lets duo so I can start to gas light you, then I fly you in irl to watch us at riot arena,” he said in reply to a tweet.
There are, however, some trends with how he’d cold open. He’d do things like try and ask if they’d be his “spoiled travel princess”, offer them free coaching, and gloat that he’s “living in Seoul rn” to try and entice women to travel out there to see him.
The DMs shown often have him messaging repeatedly over the course of up to 3-6 months with no reply, with women being put off by his advances and sudden offers to fly them across the world at not cost. There are literal dozens of these messages revealed in the quote retweets alone, not including people who may not have stepped forward or may not have even seen a message from him.
Riot has deemed this to be harassment and a breach of their code of conduct, resulting in a year-long ban.
“After careful consideration of the matter, Juv3nile will be suspended from all Riot-sanctioned esports competitions for 12 months starting today, 4 April 2025 and will be required to complete an executive training focused on conduct, respect, and professionalism,” the statement reads.
Comments beneath tweets from women who leaked their DMs have had fans running with it, saying he has “L rizz” and that he’s a “weirdo”.
“WORST RIZZ EVER” said one user.
“nah telling a girl who you dont know at ALLLLLL that youre going to cnc her is legit devious, thats just gotta be harassment,” said another user.
For reference, CNC means “consensual non-consent”, essentially meaning he wanted the woman he was DMing to give him full control over the situation if they were ever to meet in person.
Juv3nile has yet to speak publicly on this ruling, and his Twitter account has been quite since March 19, the day women began leaking their DMs.
