In this piece, I discuss why the Mole is the best pet in Grow a Garden. We have another Grow a Garden piece on what the chances are for the Mole to dig up gear!
Why the Mole is the Best Pet in Grow a Garden
The Mole is a criminally underrated pet in Grow a Garden for multiple reasons. Its passive ability often goes unnoticed, with players favouring pets that apply your crops with mutations. However, I’m here to tell you why the Mole is the best pet in the whole game!
Why is the Mole Good?
The Mole’s passive ability is one of the most useful in Grow a Garden. It’s a Legendary rarity pet with a 22% hatching chance that was available by collecting a Night Egg, which was obtainable during the Lunar Glow event.
One of the Strongest Passive Abilities
Every 80 seconds, the Mole digs underground to find a random piece of ‘treasure’. This treasure usually includes Sheckles, which can range from 800 to over 1,000. But, the other thing it digs up is gear!
The Mole can grant you free sprinklers of any rarity, including Godly Sprinklers and Advanced Sprinklers. That’s not all, though, as it also has a chance of collecting Trowels and Recall Wrenches.
This may not seem like a big deal at first, but it saves you a bunch of Sheckles in the long run, especially if you plan to utilise a lot of gear. For example, the Trowel is required to move plants around your garden, and as you collect more seeds, you’re going to want to alter the appearance of your plot over time!
There’s no guarantee of what the Mole will dig up each time, but if you go AFK, and check back in your inventory, you may find a ton of new pieces of gear and your Sheckles will have increased, too. You can’t go wrong with that!
